This policy explains how we process personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), known in Poland as RODO.

What data we collect

  • Contact form details: your name, company, work email, optional phone number, selected topic and message, together with the submission time and the form's consent record.
  • Technical server logs, which may include IP address, request time, requested page, browser information and error or security events.

Please do not include sensitive personal data in your message. Providing contact details is voluntary, but the required fields are necessary for us to handle your enquiry.

Purposes and legal basis

  • Responding to enquiries and preparing offers at your request: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, where processing is necessary to take steps before entering into a contract.
  • Handling general business enquiries: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in communicating with prospective clients and business contacts.
  • Maintaining website security, preventing abuse and diagnosing technical problems: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in protecting the website and its users.

We do not use contact form submissions to subscribe you to marketing, and we do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects solely through automated processing.

How long we retain data

We retain enquiry data for up to 3 years after the last contact concerning the enquiry, and technical server logs for up to 12 months after collection. Data is deleted or anonymised earlier when it is no longer needed for the stated purposes.

Who receives your data

Access is limited to authorised people handling enquiries and service providers acting as processors, including hosting, database and email providers. We store enquiries privately with our cloud hosting and database provider. Processors handle data on our instructions under appropriate data-processing arrangements. Data may also be disclosed to competent authorities where required by law.

Transfers outside the EEA

If a service provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, transfers take place only with appropriate safeguards under the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or on the basis of an applicable adequacy decision. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data and obtain a copy.
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request erasure of your data.
  • Request restriction of processing.
  • Receive your data in a portable format where processing is automated and based on consent or a contract.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests, on grounds relating to your particular situation.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Send requests to hello@eriks.team. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe your personal data has been processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, Poland. More information is available at uodo.gov.pl.

Third-party services and storage

The Contact page embeds an OpenStreetMap map. This connection discloses technical information, such as your IP address, to the respective providers.
